Come together coast-to-coast to celebrate our 2024 Influential Women in Agriculture and take in lively discussions about the agriculture industry from a uniquely female perspective.
Join our seven IWCA honourees in our annual virtual summit on October 22 at 12 p.m. ET. Featuring our hand-selected group of honourees and other prominent ag trailblazers, this live, free event will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas as our guests share their thoughts through interactive sessions.
Held since 2020, Influential Women in Canadian Agriculture (IWCA) and the IWCA Summit provide valuable discussions on balance, communication and leadership. This virtual, live-streamed format allows those working in all facets of agriculture – whether in the field, in the lab, in an office or on the farm – to join from any setting, ask questions and learn from the best.

Keynote address with Nettie Wiebe
Nettie is an organic crop farmer, professor emerita of St. Andrew’s College, University of Saskatchewan, past president of the National Farmers Union, as well as a member of La Via Campesina’s International Co-ordinating Commission. Her keynote will include the knowledge and experiences she has gained across her time in Canadian agriculture combined with her social activism, political engagement and advocacy for women in rural communities.

We all deal with setbacks in our lives – personal, professional, emotional and beyond. Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual, so everyone has to approach challenges differently. Our panelists discuss some of the unique challenges they’ve faced in their lives and careers, and how they’ve adapted, grown and learned from those challenges.
