Barbara Cade-Menun

Barbara Cade-Menun, a research scientist with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, is a world leader in studying phosphorus cycling in water, soils and plants. She’s developed and refined investigative techniques that have become the preferred standard, and has received numerous accolades in recognition of her work.


Laura Van Eerd

Laura Van Eerd is champion for sustainability in agriculture and teaches sustainable soil management at the University of Guelph Ridgetown campus. During her 17 years with the university, Van Eerd’s role of professor and researcher has allowed her to influence agriculture both within the province, nationally and internationally.


Trish Jordan, Bayer

Bio: Trish Jordan grew up in the city but her passion for agriculture lead her to work for five different agricultural organizations in two western provinces. In her current role as Senior Business Partner, Government and Industry Affairs for Bayer, Trish engages with provincial governments in Western Canada and key farm and industry stakeholders across the country in support of Bayer’s business, its farm customers and the Canadian agricultural sector. Trish donates her time to many industry boards and has been honoured with two awards, the Canadian Farm Writers and Broadcasters Lifetime Achievement Award and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, for her leadership and impact in Canadian agriculture.
